Brothers Jonathan King & Remington Rolé Inducted in “GSU 40 Under 40” Class of 2023
Among Georgia State alumni, there are remarkable doers, creators, innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs — individuals making their mark in every imaginable field. The 40 Under 40 program was started in 2018 and annually honors, recognizes and celebrates the most influential and impactful Georgia State graduates who embody the values of the university.

Brother Jonathan King (Spring 2009)
As a Principal at Coinbase Ventures, Jonathan King (B.B.A. '11) is responsible for investing in early-stage crypto and Web3 startups, primarily focusing on companies building Web3 developer platforms and tools. With more than 11 years of experience that spans product, engineering and corporate strategy in a wide range of expertise markers, King has been investing and advising projects in the crypto space since 2016.
Prior to his current position, King honed his professional expertise in roles with GoingVC Partners, Microsoft, McDermott International and GE Power. A Georgia Tech Scheller MBA alum, King serves as an immutable program mentor at the Atlanta Blockchain Center and an angel investor with the Atlanta Technology Angels. In addition to serving on Georgia State's Young Alumni Council, he also served as a chapter advisor to the Pi Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Brother Remington Rolé (Spring 2015)
Remington Rolé (B.S. '15, M.P.P. '18) manages health IT services for federal government entities such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Defense. Since fall 2020, Rolé, a certified Project Management Professional® and a certified SAFe® 5 Agilist, has been an onsite federal contractor at the CDC supporting the accelerated development, manufacturing and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
In recognition of the important role he played in the nation's COVID-19 response, he received a certificate of commendation from the U.S. government. Rolé previously worked as a policy analyst for the Georgia Governor's Office of Planning and Budget and as an outreach coordinator for the Atlanta City Council. A proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Rolé serves as a board member for the Georgia State Alumni Association Young Alumni Council and as executive chair of Millennials in Atlanta.
